Hi Brian,

50 PSI is fine as long as you place complete trust in your fuel pressure regulator. If your FPR fails or the hose from it back to the tank gets kinked then the pressure will go to 110PSI before the fuel pump shuts down.

I would keep looking for something stronger unless it was an emergency. There are lots of suppliers that carry the correct hose.
