thanks for clearing this up mike.. your one of the few people who could answer this as not everyone has a Jadgewagen :<) i solved the "slack" problem by just drilling into the plastic block and running a small panhead screw into the block..so now it pushes the switch in far enough..

now the fun part.. wiring it all up! ugh..
