Don't know about Autozone... that might be asking a bit much of them. There's an old-fashioned full-service auto parts place here in town that I know I can get them from, if you have something like that, and Napa should be able to get them. Here's a couple of places: http://www.acsource.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=265 and http://www.aircoparts.com/AIRCO/oring.htm has this information: Sanden HNBR HNBR Nitrile Black Green Black HNBR for R134a applications. Some HNBR is black and some green. Nitrile for R12 applications
Either place should be able to help you out if necessary. If you haven't seen this you should check it out: http://www.gti16v.com/tb879503.htm Freeze 12 is about 80% R134a, btw. Good luck, Robert I used to tell the changing of the seasons by the calendar, or by going outside. Now I know them by the threads that appear on the Vanagon list.

I am getting ready to recharge A/C on my '84. I need to change out the O-rings first. I will be recharging with Freeze-12. Are the O-rings special or something I can find at Auto Zone? John Macon, GA |
