The most likely problem is a bad cable or one that's sticking in its sheath. The next most likely is the cable end, where it protrudes through the grease cap at the wheel, having lost its clip or having rounded out the square hole. For those of us with the black box that counts miles before turning on the OXY light, either cable could have pulled out of its socket to the point that its making intermittent contact. Anyway, I don't think its the speedometer head itself. Mike |
