Speaking of Fuel Pumps...
I have a 1982 Air cooled Vanagon that sat for probably 5 years in the back
of a local car lot.
Brought it home husband worked on it, Got it running with-in 24  hours.  Had
it for 2 weeks, Bought it for 200.00 bucks. Put about  600.00worth of
parts/tires on her. Driving it on a long trip just yesterday  noticed there was gas
leaking out of the middle of the van.  Got underneath  gas is just pouring outta
the pump. Limp it over to Napa Parts store, we have to  order one...???are ya
nuts.. Guy sells me a 1987 Ford F150 for 116. and some  change ..Needless to
say we turned around and came back home after it was  installed.
