Thanks, Paul, Mike and Steve for your quick response about my towing wire harness. I purchased the correct 5 wire IN and 4 wire OUT unit. Had a very frustrating experience at C. Tire though and ended up going to a local auto parts store. I couldn't find the unit on the shelf and the guy at the counter couldn't be bothered to assist. Paid $27.50 which seems like a fair price. The wiring is done, the trailer is purchased and a new hitch is installed. Brought it all home this afternoon. For John Rodgers, the hitch was purchased at Bow Wow parts in Victoria. It is rated 1500 lbs. towing and 150 lbs tongue weight. It fastens to the two tie down loops under the rear bumper. It was very easy to install. Cost: $175 Can. plus taxes - no ball included.
