The sliding door handle on my 84 Westy droops when the door is open... i.e. it works fine but does not return to the horizontal while the door is unlatched. I'll be taking the door panel off to recover it so it seems an opportune time to try to sort this out. Is this a common ailment and if so what can I expect? Perhaps a broken or dislodged spring is the culprit but I doubt I'm lucky enough that it is anything easily put right w/o disassembling the bowels of the latch. Thanks for any help or advice. Geo Hahn
