Since last year most U.S. automakers have made changes in their product lines...these may have been in process but the numbers showed them the necessity for embracing hybrids and fuel efficiency and lessening their dependence on the large vehicles in their line (for their increased profit margins...though there is no profit if they don't sell). Still...with all this, it takes quite a while to make a dent in the existing fleet on the road.
