Hi all. Have purchased solenoid from local RV shop to use for dual batt. setup. I have a good idea of how to wire, but need to know: should "hot" lead (to actuate solenoid) connect to ign. switch or ign. coil? If to coil (I imagine this is the best place) which connector do I tie into? Did I buy correct part? i.e. the solenoid is an app. 1.5" long can with 3 connections. One for ign. with 2 others one each for pos. battery terminals. Should I install a fuse at each batt? i.e. 30 amp? (read about that somewhere....) TIA, Neil.
