If you were to remove the "Volkswagen" and "Vanagon GL" logos from the back of your van (but of course we all know that this would violate the first rule of Vanagon owning - "keep it factory spec"), what would you do with the resultant holes? Keep in mind that they are not evenly spaced when you compare left to right side. The right side are closer together. Also, out of the question is closing them up and painting over them (because my brother forgot to do this). And don't even bother suggesting putting rubber plugs in there. I have already thought of putting an extra set of break lights or reflectors. I am going to install a third brake light from a Passat on the upper inside Westy shelf, but a thin reflector or driving light might look good. I also would prefer that it not stick out too far back from the van. thanks, Dana 85 Westy 1.9td 04 Beetle 1.9tdi
