Well, sounds like you've narrowed the problem down pretty well to the Idle Stabilizer system. Might be the idle air valve, but if it returns to normal idle when unplugged, the valve obviously isn't stuck. Might want to try shorting the sense circuits for the AC and PS idle switches, make sure neither of them are the culprit. -- John Bange '90 Vanagon - "Geldsauger" |
