So has anyone ever fitted a Low Pressure turbo to the waterboxer? or would this delicate engine simply explode? As a lift long turbo owner and seeing how they have made kits and modifications for every engine out there, I'm wondering if anyone has ever attempted this to get the extra 10-20hp needed for highway passing and hill climbs...seems like a cheaper option if the engine wouldn't explode on the first step of the gas pedal!
