this whole thing is just stupid beyond belief.

if your personal experience says that the last 9 out of ten times you _______ - then chances are _______.

unfortunately if you enter a sensitive word into space A - suddenly everyone freaks out.

if you smash your thumb 5 times, won't you think twice before doing whatever it was last time to avoid it again?

yea, well maybe it was a hammer made in china.

just like when we were kids and anytime something was really crappy seeming everyone said 'it was probably made in taiwan' - and why? because they almost always were.

its not a label, its common effin sense.

just like im not going to take my vanagon to the dealer to get work done, because I know from experience that most of the time its going to cost way too much compared to getting the work done elsewhere. I guess if the dealership was a state or country or religion or sexual orientation that would be a big freakin deal.

just more hypersensitive nitpicking that keeps any real progress from happening in the world.

----

having said that, of course the kit isnt any good. all of that cheapo generic stuff on eBay is junk for most of our standards. if you just need to get the job done, go for it, but you usually get what you pay for. (or unfortunately, much much less.)
