Hello, sorry for spamming the list for my 'who's local' request. anyway, I have an 81 vanagon and im in need of a few tools that id rather not buy just for these tasks. tasks: 1. I need some sort of cutting wheel tool to chop off the sliders for the drivers chair. I made the mistake of trying to remove the rotating bottom to gain some height and only later realized that the stock sliders are partially welded closed. 2. this is just a 'that would be nice' thing, but id like to do as others have mentioned recently and use a sawzall to make a little extra compartment under the drivers seat, so I can mount my portable hard drive or put an amp or something under there. I have *some* tools in my garage, but nothing near the power that id need to do the above.
thanks for considering it if you are in my area. =) |
