It is not the wheel size, but the tire size that determines what will fit into the spare tire carrier. If you have a carrier designed for the 205 tire, it can be modified to accept a 215 width X 27.5" tire without too much trouble.

I'm looking at picking up a set of the 15" SA wheels. I thought about getting five so I have a matching spare. I noticed on van-café's site they sell a special bracket to carry one of these as a spare. Does that mean it won't fit with the standard spare carrier? Also, is there any harm in having a stock 14" spare with the 15" wheels? I know most cars today offer the small doughnut spare but wasn't sure of the implications of rolling down the road with one oddball smaller wheel/tire.

Thanks,

Mike
