Dunno, but probably not much. "Pick it yourself" yards tend to price small, easily pocketable items pretty low because if they price 'em too high, they mysteriously won't sell ANY... Given that the 99 wiper controller looks like a standard hella relay (a bit taller), I bet you'd find it for under $10. The only problem with the 99 relay is that you're competing with a whole bunch of other VW fanatics for it, as it's a covetted plug-and-play upgrade for some 20-plus years' worth of VW's. If you catch a fresh VW before the other vultures get to it, you might get lucky. The yard I went to was huge, but being in a large metropolitan area, most stuff is picked clean really fast.

The KAE one I got was $35 and not worth a dime, in my opinion. I picked up my 99 via ebay.de as one of several assorted relays from a Golf some guy was parting out in Germany. I think I paid 10 euros plus fifteen euros shipping. Still cheaper than that KAE, and I got a bunch of other relays with it.
