I'll agree on the Made in China stigma. My pal Pete's 301 CI Mustang is making a LOT of power from an all Chinese bottom end. The Scat stroker crank, rods and pistons are all made in China and are working very well! I gave him a hand assembling the motor, and we had to do very little work to make the rods and pistons perfectly balanced.

It is really depressing to take Pete's 65 Mustang for a blast and then drive home in my high-mileage 1.9 litre work van!
