I thought about putting our boats on top of our Westy Syncro for about 10 seconds and decided to build a boat trailer instead. We have two Necky Tofino tandems, they are approx. 21 1/2ft long and 70+ pounds each. With a 7ft tall van not including a rack, and an under 5ft tall spouse I knew that even if I got the kayaks on the roof I would never be able to pop the top with them up there.
Joy, or anyone else on the list, if you ever wander up this way look us up and we can go paddling.
Mark in AK - missing the days of paddling a single, and needing to get a triple!
