Subject: Warped Brake rotors?
Content-type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset=ISO-8859-1

So, I just had a new set of 15 inch rims installed with new tires. The rims are the Rhein alloy models.

After they were installed (by costco) I noticed that when braking I am now getting a pulsing action on the brake pedal. I recognize this as being from the rotors being warped. I was not getting this before the rims/tires were installed.

So the question is: Could this been as a result of over tightening the lug nuts ? Or would they have had to slam the rotors with the rim to do this? or is it just coincidental? and what might the remedy? Replace them? the rotors have never been turned.

-john
