I've also seen clowns take a torque wrench and click off 45lb/ft AFTER the Shop Monkey cranked it to 150lb/ft with the air wrench. If it clicks at 45, it must be ok LMAO.

I have also seen where a manager was telling my friend that they hand torque every lug nut, while at the same moment said shop monkey was cranking the lug nuts to 150lb/ft right behind him. My friend said, "oh you mean LIKE THAT" pointing to his employee, and the manager rushed over. It was too late, the axles had to be removed to replace the wheel studs on the Isuzu.

I recommend loosening the lugs and tighten them YOURSELF, you are the one responsible for this, not the tire shop.
