Thanks to all for their thoughtful comments on the warped rotor dilemma. !!! I appreciate your help.

With respect to my reference to the "third world" I will simply say:

geez guys lighten up...!!! (: My job in a liberal PC academic environment subjects me to way too much of this type of banter.
