Both of mine were so worn that they came out easily after I unbolted the links. Getting them back on was a different matter. I installed them on the sway bar first, then applied dish soap, and used several bar clamps to persuade the end links over the bushing. I need to do it again, since with tight new bushings, the 82 end links promptly snapped... I may try actually removing the whole sway bar this time, assuming it can be slid out with the end links attached.

btw, since both my 82 'bent' end links are snapped at beginning of the threads, I'm thinking of drilling and tapping an M10 hole in them, and using a long M10 stud to repair them. I tried welding one already, but it didn't hold, as they are cast. Does anyone have a better idea? Local wrecker wants $75 for these things!
