A torch will help you remove the old ones quickly, but only  if you have
removed the bar from the van! You'll need it to be off to install the new
eyelet bushings anyway; they're pretty tight. I put them in the link eye
first, clamped that in the vise, then smoothed off the end of the bar, lubed
the hole, and started swearing!  You obviously can't heat them to install
because they'll degrade. Not technical, but laborious.
