 I've had 3 fires-all in my split window DC!  2 on the illfated drive when I
bought it in Oregon & was trying to drive it to Salt Lake. First one put out
w/ fire extinguisher on board, 2nd a couple of hours later after I had
repaired the fuel line problem (LOL), but now had no extinguisher-used dirt
from the road onto my engine before the fire dept. showed up!  3rd fire
several years later after I had put new engine into DC  & left a shop rag up
next to the starter which caught fire-no damage!

You can never be too stoopid.

Tom-fires can be so embarrassing & expensive in case no one knew
