The condition described could be cause by a leaking transmission cooler
causing coolant to leak into the transmission.  If this is the case  disassembly,
cleaning and replacing those parts affected by the presence of the  coolant is
indicated.  Also remember the torque converter is probably  contaminated by
the coolant also.
