Hi all.

So I just couldn't help myself. There was this 2001 beetle, with a newer looking Bosch OEM alternator, just waiting to be pulled..... ;)

It looks like it will bolt up to my Jett's engine in my vanagon But.....

Online reading suggests this will work ok but can I just connect the vanagon blue D+ wire to the new alternator L wire? The other DFM wire appears to be for ECU or some such. There is a diagram in my a3 bentley showing a single wire connection with a 2 wire alternator.

Here's an image of part in question

Now back to your Super Bowl. Lol.

Neil.
