Subject: westy water tank pump...

As I get this westy in working order again I'm finding very little inside worked when I got it. When applying 12v to the pump assembly (directly) I don't get a hum or any indication that the pump is working. Is there anything I should know about low water shut off in these simple pumps, or is it simply not working?

Shawn
