Wow. 2 engines /day.Thats one for every listee, every 3 years.Make mine a 1.9 version. I guess they will soon have to change their name to Go Westy World. As for the adjuster screws, I removed the screws from a WBX that had 62K. Poor maintinance from new(PO).The interior of the engine had a bronze glaze all over. Well, 3 of 8 screws had bad pitting where they struck the valve stem. The pitting was deep.2 of the screws had ridges worn and the metal could break off too. I could imagin bits of these screws eventually breaking off not too far down the road.I think replacement in a rebuild is automatic. |
