Just about anything can be done, however when dealing with front end work, I would say that safer, not cheaper, is better. If you don't have the tools to do this job yourself, get it done somewhere that does. It may cost a little more, but it at least it will be done properly and you aren't endangering yourself and others. Bare minimum, take the upper control arms to a machine shop. They should have the press and welder to be able to do the job right. And they don't usually charge a lot if you just bring it in to them. Just my opinion.
