It was a sad day when they started making us use the cable locks on the HMMWV's, 'cause then we couldn't send the new private inside to ask for the keys unless we'd actually forgetten them. We could, however, still send them searching for a box of grid squares-- though that joke was ruined the day some wiseguy private came back with a map cut into squares along the grid lines...
