You probably have a blown seal in either the master or slave. The master will leak to right under the brake pedal - easy to see. The slave may leak down on the bracket it sits on and onto the tranny, but it might also hold the oil inside the bellows on the cylinder. This can happen, particularly when the slave is just starting to fail. BTDT several times. You can check by pulling the bellows back. You might have a tablespoon or two of oil rush out. But if there is oil, you have found the leak.

I seriously doubt that bleeding the system is going to help you.

There are several good web pages on changing out the slave cylinder, and also some for the master, but I'll bet on the slave since you haven't noted a pool of fluid underneath the pedals.
