This is actually part of the harness that I advertised last week for $250. It appears that the black wire goes into the small black box that is on the firewall on the driver's side. It plugs in there.

I had a vanagon tow to my house late Sat. night. DOA. Wiring problem. I got it running, but with a jumper cable. There is a black wire that runs from the coil (+) to the fuel injection relay. Its bad. It runs from the coil into the wiring harness and at some point back to the relay. I would like to fix it, rather than jumper it out. Any idea where VW makes these two wires connect? Any ideas on this one?

Joe W.
