Loren,
The "fine for a minute or two then a problem" makes me suspect the problem
starts when the TempII sensor tells the ECU that the engine is warm enough
to start paying attention to the O2 sensor.
I think your instinct that something got unplugged is probably a good one
(electrical or vacuum), add to that the possibility that nudging wires out
of the way weakened some corroded, marginal crimp in the harness. As
always, pay attention to the big ground cluster on the left head,
especially since those wires had to be jostled some while replacing the two
injectors on that side.
It's possible that some sensor failed (o2 or TempII) just as you did the
other work... but I never trust coincidence. Not until I look for extra
damage my fumbling fingers did while I was in there. :-)
You can't actually swap the TempII plug with an FI plug can you? They look
a lot alike, but I never tried this...
