If it's like my 84, there is a small metal piece fitted to the back of the
lock that rotates with the cylinder . It has the 'fingers' on it that work
the latch.  There is a small pin (1/8") that holds it to the cylinder.
Tap that pin out and the small metal piece will come off, then with the
key turned half-way in the lock, the cylinder will come out through the
front of the lock.  I used a piece of metal coat hanger cut to 3/4" long
and a hammer to tap out the pin since I didn't have the proper tool.

Be careful with cylinder once it's out. The springs and discs will fly all
over the place if you're not careful.
