I have to second this, even though myself and others said it already a few weeks ago. Rust and even rust-through on body panels is one thing- this kind of damage in the frame and suspension etc. is something else. You're gonna kill somebody with this thing. Get one with a usable body and part this one into it. Please.

Forget the MOT, think about your own safety and sanity. Jens, as much as I admire your courage, PLEASE just walk away from that rust pit! There must be another Vanagon in Europe with a decent body and a toasted motor. I'm sure we'd all be much happier to work through the van with you if you were going to end up with something really nice!
