VW'ers, I would like to pull the refrigerator out and replace it with a cabinet or something useful. I think the benefits of the fridge are far out-weighed by what could use the space and replace it. What experience has the community had with the fridge and do you use a cooler with ice or a decent 12V plug in cooler unit to supplement or replace the fridge function? I know some have implemented fans etc. but is there a replacement fridge on the market or some better alternative? There isn't much room in that thing for starters. Ideas? Chris |
