Okay, so I looked a little harder, and found some info on laoded vs. uloaded brake calipers. One source says unloaded is without pads and hardware, another mentinos pads but not hardware.

I got a left and right caliper (rebuilt), and one has three bolts and two small rubber boots. The other has neither of these things. Whe knows what it should have come with (Girling caliper for an '87)?

Thanks, Ed in CT
