Unless it has been screwed with, it won't need adjusting. Just check it
to make sure there is a little bit of play.

Bentley shows how to set this with the whole brake booster and bracket
removed from vehicle.  I am replacing my MC, and would like to adjust
the
pedal freeplay while I'm at it.  Is this possible to do with the booster
and bracket in place?  Any tips?
