Subject: LVC "Mr. Buddy" type heaters on sale at Wal-Mart
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I had been considering buying a Mr. Buddy type of heater for camping in the Westfalia, until I could afford a Propex. I thought the prices were a bit high for something that I may not use much, but I saw a DynaGlo equivalent at Wal-mart tonight for $35, regularly $70. It has two heat settings, I think 4,000 and 8,000 BTU, with electronic ignition and a low oxygen shut-off. So in case anyone was considering such a heater, know that Wal-Mart (at least the one I bought from in CT) has them at 1/2 price.

I hope I don't start a long discussion of the benefits and drawbacks of such a heater; that can be founc in the archives. I just wanted to post for those of you who may have been looking for such a thing.
