Yeah, I was being a little factious in that my westy had 38,500 miles on it when it was 18 years old, & now that it is 4 years older, it has 91 K on it so I have put 52.5 K on it in 4 years, so I am not afraid to drive it, buuuut, I do like having a mint low mileage westy & it will never be low mileage again(if I leave the cake out in the rain?) > Don't want to do that in an enduro road trip that will take 36.5 hours averaging almost 70 mph. That would be 2- 18 hour days or 3-12 hour days-doesn't seem like it would be to good on the westy? + I have to drive east by my self, although on the leisurely way back the spousal unit will be along.

Tom-waiting to hear back from Ken's Westy rental place
