I don't recall this being all that difficult either, but I seem to remember two 10mm bolts that hold the motor to the assembly are very close to the neck of the worm gear assembly and I got them out with an open-end wrench, which I hate to do because it tends to round off stuck bolts. If it's really stuck, you can grind down enough of a cheap 10mm socket to fit between the casting and the bolt and at least get it started that way.

If your bolts are this hard to get out, maybe you should get replacement window scrapers from bus depot and keep water out of the door--in my opinion the number one killer of window motors. Worked for me.
