Hi,

I am going to scrap the blue vanagon, and part it as much as I can.

An idea that I got.

Besides taking all parts that can be taken, I thought of using an angle grinder, and cut out the window frames.

Guess that it would be nice at a later time (to repair rust) to have some good pieces of original window frame, to use for repair.

Anyone done this before?

In fact, I could cut out all good metal parts, and beyond a stock of good parts, also get a stock of body-metal repair parts.

Anyone did this?

And I happily receive feedback on the idea.

Best regards

Jens Jakob
