Hey folks,

Having some difficulty with our 2.1.

When we purchased it, the head gaskets were leaking, Replaced the head gaskets and upper o-rings - also reworked the heads at that time. Bled the system.

The temp goes up, up up!! It gets hot idling up until the light starts flashing. Took it on the highway after it cooled and the same thing happened. Even at highway speeds, temp went up and up until near the top and the temp light started flashing. Eased off the gas, put front on and the temp went down a little, light stops flashing. Drive slower - 45 mph - home and its still hot but no flashing.

We already put on a new waterpump. The radiator and both coolant lines running to the radiator get hot.

Any ideas??
