On the sender, G = the gauge and "WK" = the indicator light. This is a dual sender for both the gauge and the warning light. On the gauge, the "+" is for the positive voltage, the "S" goes to the sender, ( remember the "G") and the "-" goes to ground. Polarity is very important.

Folks, Am installing a VDO oil pressure gauge and sender. Need help with the connections, and haven't been able to decipher the letter designations. The seller kindly left out the VDO manual. The sender has a screw-on terminal marked "G", and one marked "WK". the gauge has 3 screw connections, one marked "+", one marked "-", and one marked "S". Is this really a potentiometer, so it makes no difference which sender connection I call "signal"? Is the signal input to the gauge the "S" term., while the "+", and "-", power the gauge? Cost me $$$, so I don't want to blow the set-up! All help appreciated. Thanks, Doug in CT
