I read somewhere of someone who replaced all coolant hosing with flexible marine exhaust hose - i think it was on the subaruvanagon list. the argument was the cost of all the little vw hoses and the many connections. did anyone else do s.th like this? paying 500$ for the vw hoses is really a lot.....
