Click and Clack said the Element is the spiritual successor to the Vanagon.

two things about that

one - click and clack have not spoken well enough of vanagons to merit the right to spiritual commentary

and two - taking apart the interior of one of those elements is a lot like feeding snapping turtles by hand -

my vanagon has no spiritual successor - it is itself, itself alone - like all sentient beings : )
