Subject: Free Engine & "Not a problem"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I have a 2.1 wasserboxer with a broken head stud taking up space and it needs to go. It's dirty, but it ran perfectly adequately until the coolant blew out the stud hole onto the highway. I was over to the shoulder and had the engine off within seconds of hearing the stud blow, so there's no overheat damage. All the useful exterior parts were put on the Boston Engine rebuilt that replaced it. Basically it'd make a decent core for exchange. Offered for the low, low price of FREE, to whomever is willing to come and get it in Simi Valley, CA.

And on an unrelated, but still Vanagon relevant note, the following was seen in an eBay ad for a 90 Westy in snowy Idaho: "There is a little paint bubbling along the lower left body seam. This is quite typical and not a problem." Relax, dear; those holes are all part of the natural cycle of Vanagon life...
