Dunno if I believe this has much to do with karma- I certainly don't think it's stealing unless he actively tries to hornswoggle some doofus. I know he's been a little liberal with his presentation already but that's kind of the nature of used car transactions. The buyer does have some responsibility to educate himself. I suppose it's a good thing he hasn't latched onto the sale of the Go Westy red van... then he could point to that and say 'hey, it's only half of that one...' For that matter you could probably make the white one match the red one in features for less than the difference. He's probably right, tho. Somebody with enough money as not to care will buy it for a toy. There are bras, shoes, turntables, all kinds of crap that cost more than that van that sell all the time. Go figure.
