Ha! Not useful as a visual inspection will tell you it's a seal.

Does anyone have EKTA that gives more info and a diagram to diagnosis this MIA part, or does it give a cryptic answer too?

My only guess is it may have to do with some cooling pipe I bought, but it doesn't appear from looking at the pipe.
