This might be a great opportunity for someone in the western Washington area to pick up some spare parts. I'd keep these except I'm putting a Subaru 2.2 into the van.

I have a 2.1 engine that threw a rod. It ran great up until that time. I'm selling the whole engine as spare parts. That includes everything on it except the muffler, rear support bar, muffler brackets & clutch bolts. Think of the fuel injectors, the alternator, the intake system, the plumbing system (including the manifold from behind the firewall), the power steering pump, the push rod tubes & tin. I don't know how the heads faired in the breakdown but one of them was replaced by the previous owner. It's all there and it works.

I also have the harness including the ECM (from under the back seat) to the idle stabilizer from behind the tail light. This is one piece.

I put these on www.craigslist.org for $150 ea but am more than willing to listen to offers. I'm about 100 miles from Seattle and 120 from Portland, until I get the Subie engine back in I can't transport the whole engine.

Putting a '91 Subaru 2.2 into an '87 Vanagon in western Washington. Slowly, very slowly
